Hi, I am Tara, the woman behind the lens and owner, operator of Apple Orchard Photography.
I am an on-location, natural light portrait photographer. I love to take photographs and I love making people smile.

Photography is part of who I am just ask anyone that knows me! It is a part time adventure for me as I am also the School Counselor at Jackson Middle School. I truly love kids! I love their happy nature, curiosity, passion for play and life, their energy, innocence and many more attributes that make them special.

With my photography, my goal is to capture “Life’s Precious Moments” into a picture for you to cherish for years. Having a daughter and a step-daughter I see just how quickly life passes us by and want to cherish each little moment! I would love to help you do that too! Call me today to schedule an appointment! These sessions will be offered Monday, January 16. If you are interested message me, 740-288-5587, with a time that would work best for you. I will do my best to get you the closest appointment. These are FREE sessions with the option to purchase pictures and/or products. There will be two backdrop available which will accomodate one or two. Hope to hear from you soon! Valentine’s Sessions

Who is interested? I just received a new backdrop and floordrop from LemonDrop Stop and am in loooove with them! They will make such adorable Valentine’s photos! Reflecting on 2011

Reflecting on 2011 as owner of Apple Orchard Photography I had a total of 86 sessions and 9 weddings. I also held a contract with Pickaway Ross to photograph the students in their nursing program, took pics of all the kiddos in Jackson’s t-ball and softball programs, Oak Hill’s t-ball program, Upward basketball and YMCA volleyball. I have met some incredible people and made many new friends. I appreciate everyone and thank each and every person that has allowed me to capture memories for you, referred people to me, followed me on Facebook, encouraged me with kind comments and honest opinions, booked sessions for 2012 and purchased pictures and other products from me. You are what has made my business a success! THANK YOU! I also appreciate the ability to juggle my full time job, this business, and my amazing family. I look forward to 2012! Summertime!

Wow! This summer is flying by and I am taking sooooo many pictures! From seniors, families and babies to weddings and sports! I thank each of you that have given me or have booked a session with me the opportunity to help capture your special moments and people in your lives! It is a fun and rewarding job! A Year in Review

Working on my taxes for 2010 I realized I photographed over 70 sessions, as well as 4 weddings, 4 sessions with the Pickaway Ross Nursing Program, all of the City of Jackson tee-ball and softball pictures as well as a couple of the baseball teams, JMS 7th & 8th grade baseball teams, cheerleading pictures for 3th, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in Jackson, and held the contract for the YMCA TOP Soccer, volleyball, football, and basketball. A HUGE thank you goes to everyone that did business with me and or referred others to me. You are who makes Apple Orchard Photography a success! 2011 OPEN YOUR HEART GIVEAWAY

Each year, hundreds of photographers from around the country join together to give back. This year, Apple Orchard Photography is thrilled to be able to participate. The holidays have truly been about giving, and we are so excited to be able to pay it forward in 2011.
